The Meaning of "Egg"
If you are wondering about the egg icon and the name egg it is actually my nickname that most people call me. I do not remember how I was given the nickname but it was because many Australians have problems pronouncing my real name. The name "Egon" is of german origin, therefore the "e" is pronouced half way between an "e" and an "a", not like how it is pronounced in the Ghostbuster movies. I can not remember when the first person started calling me egg but now it is just common place, even my wife and mum use my nickname rather than my real name.
