RFID Dart

Phidgets Gallery Dartmail-1Here is cool little toy that fires small darts that have an RFID tag in the head of the dart. The ID number contained in the dart can be read by a normal RFID tag and is associated to a file in a shared file system. This is one great way to share files! Go to the site as there is also a video of it in action.

"www.RFID2VIN.com" proposes the use of RFID chips that would be left at the scene of "hit and run" accidents. These unique identifiers would then act as a sort of "automotive DNA," providing the registration information for that particular vehicle. Posted by: R.G. at March 26, 2005 07:32 AM
